Living outside the UK means I need companies I can trust to look after my properties. This company installed air conditioning in one of my homes, and they exceeded my expectations. They were professional, punctual, and kept me informed.

Good questions.Straight answers.

What does Cryo-Air do?

We install air conditioning in homes and small businesses — wall-mounted, floor-mounted and ducted systems, all planned around the property rather than dropped into it. Once it's in, we can also service and maintain it.

Where do you install in North London?

We're based in North London and that's where we focus, along with the surrounding areas. If you're not sure whether we reach you, just ask — we'll tell you straight away.

Which air conditioning system is right for my home?

It depends on the size of the room, how you use it, how many rooms you want to cool and where the units can go. Wall-mounted, floor-mounted and ducted systems all suit different spaces. We mainly install Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric, and we recommend the right one at your free survey.

How long does installation take?

It depends on the system, the number of rooms and where the outdoor unit and pipework need to go. We'll talk you through the timescale at your survey, once we've seen the rooms and agreed where everything is going.

Where does the outdoor unit go?

That depends on your property, the pipe route and what access there is. We agree the position with you at the survey, before anything is fitted, so there are no surprises on the day.

Will installation disrupt my home?

We agree unit positions and pipe routes with you beforehand, so we know the plan before we start. We leave the place as we found it.

Can the system heat as well as cool?

Many modern systems, including the Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric ranges we install, heat as well as cool. We'll confirm the heating capability of the model we recommend for your home.

How much does air conditioning installation cost?

Every project is different. The price depends on the size of the rooms, how many units you need, where they can go, how far the pipework has to run and the equipment you choose. That's what the free survey is for. You'll get a written quote before anything is booked, with no obligation to go ahead. Right now there's 20% off labour and installation (equipment excluded).

Is the equipment warrantied?

Warranty terms depend on the equipment and how it's installed. We'll confirm exactly what's covered in your written quote.

Are you certified and experienced?

Yes. We're F-Gas certified for refrigerant handling and work to the required safety and environmental standards. Alongside the installation side, we have years of senior commercial and project experience behind us.
